How community support helps power progress

Today, Terry’s legacy lives on through one of Canada’s largest investments in innovative cancer research, and through a national research ecosystem helping transform how cancer is studied, treated and prevented.

Through the Terry Fox Foundation and the Terry Fox Research Institute, Canadians are helping build one of the world’s most ambitious precision oncology initiatives: the Marathon of Hope Cancer Centres Network. By connecting researchers, clinicians, patients, hospitals and health data across Canada, the Network is transforming how cancer research is conducted, accelerating discoveries and bringing more personalized cancer care closer to patients.

From bold scientific discoveries and national collaboration to the collective commitment of communities, partners, volunteers and supporters, that support continues to fuel what’s next in cancer research.

Thank you, Clarington

A stronger community starts with all of us.

From a donated toy to a morning spent cheering on a local fundraiser, small acts of kindness bring us together. Thank you for joining us in supporting the people and places that make Clarington home.

Keep an eye on this page for upcoming events and more opportunities to get involved.

Proud to be part of Clarington.
