My wife and I moved into the Durham area three years ago with a Civic and a CRV leased vehicle. We went to Clarington Honda and felt comfortable right away. We have re-leased new vehicles and a few months ago my wife got another Civic. Sadly, a few days ago, my wife passed suddenly. I called Clarington Honda to get out of the lease, expecting Honda Canada to impose cancelation penalties and a few hoops to jump through. But nothing could be further from that expectation. Mike Clayton, General Manager, Rhonda Seebransingh and Jeff Kerr went out of their way to complete this transaction in minutes. No hassle, no run around, just plain compassion and understanding. Mike ensured me that he would conclude the agreement, free and clear. I cannot thank these three lovely people enough. They were like family to me in this, the toughest time of my life. PS... En route to an important appointment in Montreal and our car started making a scraping noise on the 401. Stopped on the highway twice and only the second time did we see something hanging. Luckily, we were only a few min away from Clarington Honda. They were busy but Rona approached us quickly and asked how she can help. We told her the situation and a mechanic resolved it right away. We were so grateful! Really kind people work here obviously and they are a great reputation of the brand. Everyone in our family drives Honda and will continue to do so because it seems there is always great service no matter where we are. View Less
